Andy Cherry is a worship leader from Charlotte, NC. Andy released his first album, Nothing Left to Fear, in 2012. His singles “Our God’s Alive” and “Nothing But The Blood” from that album both appeared on the Billboard Christian charts.

Although he was building a successful career as a recording artist, Andy’s calling had always been to serve the local church through songwriting and leading worship, and he felt led to step away from being a touring musician to pour his life into the local church and his family. With the exception of a detour onto The Voice, Andy spent years sowing his gifts into the local communities he was a part of. In recent years he has co-written with Brandon Lake, Nate Moore and many others.

After 8 years of not releasing any music, in the Fall of 2021 Andy began releasing singles from his album Invocation filled with songs written over the last two years. His single “Orphan” is a powerful declaration of the Father’s love and that we are exactly who God says we are, not who we say we are not.

Andy is married to Michelle, and they have one son, Abraham.
