Biografía

Born in Nigeria and based in Houston, Texas, Dee has spent more than two decades serving the global Church through music. His artistry blends contemporary worship, gospel and African musical influences, creating worship experiences that are spiritually powerful, musically excellent and culturally relevant.
Dee serves as Worship Pastor at Dominion Chapel Houston, where he leads Sound of Heaven, the church’s dynamic worship ministry. Through his leadership, he has helped cultivate a worship culture marked by spiritual depth, excellence, unity and a passion for God’s presence.
He is also the Lead Pastor of The Gathering Church Houston, a vibrant, multicultural ministry committed to authentic worship, transformation through God’s Word and positive impact in its community. Together, these pastoral roles reflect Dee’s heart not only to lead people in worship, but also to disciple, develop and empower the next generation of worshippers and leaders.
Throughout his career, Dee has worked with internationally acclaimed ministers and artists, including Sinach, Israel Houghton, Donnie McClurkin, Tye Tribbett, Todd Dulaney, Panam Percy Paul and Pastor Benny Hinn. His ministry has taken him across Africa, Europe, Asia and North America, where he has led worship, produced music and helped develop established and emerging artists.
Dee produced Sinach’s live recording of the global worship anthem “Way Maker,” which received the GMA Dove Award for Song of the Year in 2020 and became one of the defining worship songs of its generation. In 2025, he received a GMA Dove Award nomination for co-writing and producing “Victory Is My Name,” performed by Sinach and Israel Houghton.
His album “Elevated” was nominated for Best Independent Gospel Album in the United States in 2011. His other recognitions include the Star Gospel Award, AGMA Best Male Artist USA and BAGMA Best Producer. He has released four albums and written numerous songs that continue to inspire worshippers around the world.
Dee studied Sound Engineering and Music Production at SAE Institute and Middlesex University in the United Kingdom. His musical excellence, creative versatility and sensitivity to the presence of God have established him as a respected voice in contemporary worship and one of the most sought-after African worship leaders and producers of his generation.
He also serves as Brand Manager for Africa at MultiTracks.com, contributing to the growth and advancement of worship technology, resources and music across the African continent.
At the heart of Dee Jones’ ministry is a passion to create music that reveals Jesus, carries God’s presence and transforms lives. Whether leading worship, producing music or pastoring people, he remains committed to releasing a fresh sound that unites cultures and lifts the name of Jesus.
Dee is married to his wife, Esther, and they are blessed with two daughters, Zion and Zoe.
