About Fully Alive
A collaborative effort of a night-and-day worship community, Fully Alive provides a colorful new glimpse into what God has been doing at the International House of Prayer, Kansas City.

In this creative venture, every song was written and recorded in an atmosphere of prayer. This project is an extension and expression of hearts coming together to magnify Jesus. Worship leaders, musicians, and singers from IHOPKC gathered during the summer/fall of 2017 to create this Forerunner Music worship experience.


Brandon Oaks
Raised in Tallahassee, FL, Brandon has sung and played guitar since 2003. He has been in multiple bands in various roles including singer and electric guitar, drum, and bass player, as well as producing and engineering. Playing primarily electric guitar since 2011, he has led worship at IHOPKC since 2014. Brandon has a passion to write songs, lead worship, and train musicians how to both grow in their skills and cultivate a spirit of prophecy and intercession.

Chris Tofilon
Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College. After five years on the mission field in Mexico, he joined IHOPKC in 2009. He has ministered internationally and currently serves as a primary worship leader in the Global Prayer Room. He has a passion to train and impart wisdom to young singers and musicians, so that they may have an understanding of the urgency of the hour.

David Forlu
Originally from Cameroon, David moved to the United States in 2002. The youngest of five children in a ministering family, he started playing musical instruments at age four. He studied two years at International House of Prayer University, and is now a worship leader at IHOPKC. His desire is to see a generation of believers singing the songs of the Lord, and crying out for the knowledge and fear of God.

Jaye Thomas
Jaye is a Dove Award-nominated singer, songwriter and worship leader of more than twenty years. Originally from North Carolina, he studied vocal jazz performance as a Brightleaf Music Scholar at Duke University. He is a worship leader at the International House of Prayer, and has contributed to more than twenty albums.

Jon Thurlow
Jon began leading worship as a teenager. When he was seventeen, he felt a stirring in his heart to use music to draw people’s hearts into the Lord’s presence. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in sacred music from Nyack College, Jon moved to Kansas City in 2004, and has served as a worship leader at IHOPKC ever since.

Jonas Park
Jonas is a worship leader and songwriter at the International House of Prayer. He is passionate about drawing people into God’s presence.

Justin Rizzo
Justin was born in Buffalo, New York. Since joining staff at the International House of Prayer, he has given himself to a life of worship, prayer, and study as his full-time occupation. His songs carry prophetic insight and unveil the depths of the Lord’s heart. Through his leadership and songwriting, Justin is sounding a clear call to this generation to prepare the way of the Lord’s return.

Laura Hackett Park
Laura discovered meeting the Lord in music from the age of two, and went on to study music theory in college. Her motivation for music and songwriting comes from a desire to draw people back to God. Laura has recorded two full-length albums, and serves as a worship leader at the International House of Prayer.

Lauren Alexandria
Lauren came to Kansas City from Phoenix, Arizona, to study at International House of Prayer University (IHOPU) in 2012. She graduated from IHOPU and now serves as a songwriter and worship leader at the IHOPKC missions base, building 24/7 worship and prayer. Lauren’s greatest desire is to magnify Jesus and draw others, through music, to do the same.

Abi Bennett
Abi was born and raised in Kansas City. She comes from a musical family, and started leading worship at age 12. Her songs carry a unique prophetic edge, and her music is filled with emotion and passion. Abi’s heart for worship is that God would be glorified, and the revelation and knowledge of Jesus would be known. She has a deep passion to usher people into God’s presence through song.



Sammie Lee
Sammie is a multi-instrumental artist pursuing relevant musical expression. He plays on numerous worship team at IHOPKC, and works as full-time producer, programmer, songwriter, and session musician.

Sammie was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up as a missionary kid in Indonesia. In 2008, he visited the United States for the first time to attend a summer camp at IHOPKC. His passion is to call a young generation to pursue God with all their heart, and to activate musicians and singers into the callings God has given them.

Olivia Buckles
Olivia grew up in Houston, Texas, and was drawn to worship as long as she can remember. She began playing the piano in 2nd grade, and started leading worship at age 12.
