The New Sound Is Family is Michael & Sherrie Howell and their daughter and son, Sarah and John Michael. This family of worshippers write/record songs and travel the world together leading worship and teaching on the subject of family (the family of God and earthly family).

When the Howell's show up at a conference or church, people see a real life picture of what building marriage, family and ministry on the sure foundation of God's Word looks like. They will be the first to tell you they haven't done it ALL PERFECTLY in their 25 years of marriage but they can say with surety, EVERY couple and family has a 100% chance of success as they begin to fully live in their true identity. In services and conferences with TNSIF, the Word and worship work together in a prophetic/spirit led flow that brings comfort, healing and an overwhelming sense of God's love and grace.

The New Sound Is Family, Volume 1 is their new album. It has been appropriately described as having “a multigenerational sound, reaching a multigenerational audience”. It is a call to every man, woman, boy and girl to awaken to their true identity as sons and daughters of Father God. The songs were born out of a desire to call forth the greatness and destiny for which all of humanity was created. In fully realizing and living from a place of identity as a royal son or daughter of the Father, HIS Kingdom WILL be established on earth and the Father's dream to have a family will become reality.

Michael and Sherrie love this season of traveling with their kids and sharing the true story of God's faithfulness in their lives. They love encouraging individuals and young couples just starting out, as well as those who may have been through some tough times and need to be reminded that God is the redeemer and restorer. There is no situation too far gone for his grace to invade and bring life back in to any relationship whether it be between husband and wife or parent and child.

Sarah (20) and John Michael (19) both serve in the worship department of their church (Gateway Church) and travel with their parents as well as other artists leading worship. They are both songwriters with songs on nationally distributed releases.

Michael and Sherrie own and operate Legendary Sound Studios, Integrity Artist Agency and Go Deep International Ministries. Michael is also a producer and engineer with hundreds of record credits, and has been awarded a gold record.

The New Sound Is Family, Volume 2 is currently underway. Our story is still being written and there are NEW songs of victory that must be sung!
